Tagging another Facebook page is simple.
Let's use an example. Let's say you would like to mention Social Report's Facebook page in your post. You would first need to find out what our Facebook Page name is. You can do this by looking at our page address: https://www.facebook.com/socialreport. That last part of the address, "socialreport", is our page name. So now you can simply use @socialreport when designing your publication.
Typing this into the post scheduler:
Results in this:
Doing a Facebook Mention is equally as simple.
If you haven't been using Facebook Mentions yet - you are missing out on a fairly powerful feature that is second nature to all Twitter users, but is something rather recent to Facebook.
Just like you could always mention people on Twitter using the @ sign, you can now do the same thing on Facebook. Here is how it works:
1) Think of a page you would like to mention. Let's say https://www.facebook.com/socialreport :)
2) Think of a message. Let's say something like this "Using @socialreport to post my first mention"
3) Now login to your Social Report, click on Publishing > Schedule a Post, design your message and click 'Publish Now'
4) Now check your Facebook feed - you will see something like this:
The mention of the page is clickable and will take your users to the page you have mentioned.
